The Main Problem We All Face
Has your tongue ever gotten bored with what you eat? Mine too! Green smoothies have changed my life, but there’s a lot more whole foods that taste great and provide enough variety too.
My mom’s triple bypass surgery was a catalyst for me to want to improve my health when I was younger, but I never knew how. It wasn’t until I started educating myself on what I like to call the, “Good, better, best” of food decisions.
The Plant Based Solution That’s Helped Me
Ever since I went to a Green Smoothie class in November 2013, my life has never been the same! I learned that eating plants prevents disease and that green smoothies can be healthy…AND delicious (gasps).
The class taught me about hidden toxins in foods, the current health care state of the U.S., and what I could do to dramatically increase the amount of greens I was consuming.
What’s nice is that my lifestyle now is more about finding healthy alternatives and substitutes to the foods I used to eat before. As with anything, it took a little bit of time in the beginning, but now I find myself making some really awesome food that tastes great and loves me back! 😉
Eating more live and whole foods is a lifestyle and not a diet or fad. It’s something that has changed my life over the past couple years and love the freedom and energy it provides me with now.
